Your information

Privacy Policy

Plain language, because it is a short policy. We collect what we need to quote your project or read your job application, and we do not sell any of it.

Last updated 15 September 2026

What we collect

  • What you type into our quote form: name, company, email, phone, the service you need, timeline, budget range, site location and your description of the project.
  • How you reached us: the page you landed on and, if you arrived from an ad or a search, the campaign and click identifiers Google attaches to the link.
  • Basic technical information your browser sends to our host, such as the pages you view and your screen size.
  • If you apply for a job, what you put in the application form and the resume you attach. That is covered in its own section below.

Why we collect it

  • To call you back and quote your project. That is the whole reason the form exists.
  • To keep a record of the job in our own business system, so the person who quotes the work is the person who does it.
  • To measure which ads bring in real work, so we stop paying for the ones that do not.

Who else sees it

Four outside services are involved, and nobody else:

  • Netlify hosts this website and receives your form submission first.
  • Microsoft 365 carries the email that tells us a quote request came in.
  • Google Ads sets cookies to tell whether an ad click became a quote request. Google is told that a quote request happened. It is not given your name, email or phone number by us.
  • Google Fonts serves the lettering this site is set in. Your browser fetches it from Google, so Google sees your IP address and which page asked for it. It is not given anything you type.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or pass it to other contractors. We would disclose it only if the law required us to.

Cookies

We store a small record in your browser noting which ad or search brought you here, so a quote request is credited to the right campaign. It expires after 90 days. Google Ads sets its own cookies for the same purpose. Blocking cookies in your browser settings will not stop you using this site or sending the form.

If you apply for a job

The application form on our careers page asks for your name, phone number, email address, the city you live in, your experience level and whatever you want to tell us about the work you have done. You can attach a resume; that part is optional.

Jarrett reads it, and nobody else. We do not pass applications to recruiters, other employers or anyone else, and we never use them to sell you something. They travel the same route as a quote request: Netlify receives the form and the file, and Microsoft 365 carries the email telling us it arrived.

We keep applications for one year, so we can come back to you when work opens up, and then we delete them. If you would rather we delete yours sooner, email info@coyotehilltechnology.com and we will.

How long we keep it

Quote requests stay in our business records for seven years, because a low-voltage installation carries a warranty and we need to know what we installed and when. Job applications are kept for one year and then deleted. Advertising measurement data expires within 90 days.

Your choices

Email info@coyotehilltechnology.com or call (641) 275-7210 and ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do it. If you would rather not be in our system at all, call us instead of using the form.

Children

This is a commercial contracting website. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
