Most bad Wi-Fi is not a Wi-Fi problem. It is an access point in the wrong place, on a cable nobody tested, sharing one flat network with everything else in the building.
Walk the building first
We go through the space and find where coverage dies and why — the block wall, the racking, the cold room, the corner nobody thought about. Placement comes out of the building, not out of a square-footage rule.
The cable underneath
Every access point needs its own run back to a switch with power to spare. We pull it, terminate it and hand you the certified test result, so a slow corner is never an argument about whose cable it is.
Switching and power
PoE budget, uplinks and the closet the whole thing lives in. An access point starved of power drops clients and nobody ever looks at the switch.
Separate networks
Staff, guests, cameras and anything taking payment each on their own network rather than sharing one. It is better security and it is what most card processors and insurers expect to see.
Voice that survives a big upload
Phones and meeting rooms get priority on the network, so a backup or a big file transfer does not turn a call into a robot.

What drives the price of a Wi-Fi job
There is no per-square-foot number worth quoting, because two buildings the same size can need twice the hardware. These are the things that actually move it.
How many access points, and where
Ceiling height, wall construction and how the space is divided decide the count. A warehouse and an office of the same floor area rarely land in the same place.
Whether the cable is already there
If there is a certified run where an access point needs to go, the job is mounting and configuring. If there is not, it is a cabling job first.
Switch capacity and power
Access points draw power over the same cable. If the existing switch has no budget left, or no spare ports, that is part of the quote rather than a surprise later.
New build or retrofit
Open ceilings before drywall are quick. Finished space, hard ceilings and conduit are not, and retrofits often get scheduled around your hours.
Common questions
Why does our Wi-Fi drop in one part of the building?
Usually one of three things: the access points are in the wrong places for how the building is actually built, there are too few of them, or they are sharing a run that was never certified. A walk-through finds which, and the answer changes what it costs to fix.
Do we need new cable for access points?
Often, yes. An access point needs its own certified run back to a switch with enough power budget, and re-using an old voice run is where a lot of flaky Wi-Fi comes from. We pull and certify the cable ourselves, so there is nobody to point at when a drop does not perform.
How many access points do we need?
It depends on the square footage, the ceiling height and what the walls are made of far more than on the number of people. Block, steel racking, cold storage and older plaster all cut range hard. We walk the building and count from what is there rather than from a rule of thumb.
Can you fix the Wi-Fi we already have?
Often without replacing it. Plenty of systems are the right hardware in the wrong places, on the wrong channels, or with every device on one flat network. We will tell you when a move and a reconfigure is the answer, and when the gear genuinely is not up to the building.
Can guests get on without being on our network?
Yes. Guest traffic goes on its own network, separated from your staff devices, your cameras and anything that takes payment. That separation is also what most card processors and insurers expect to see.
Is there a monthly fee?
Not for the installation — you own the equipment outright and there is no per-access-point licence. If you want us watching it afterwards, access points are a covered device on a care plan, which gets you firmware updates, monitoring and a rate on labour. That is optional and quoted separately.
