Commercial Security Systems in Central Iowa
Surveillance and access control — engineered together as one layered security platform.
Capabilities
A camera system that doesn't talk to your access control isn't security. We design integrated systems where every layer reinforces the next.
Video Surveillance
High-resolution UniFi Protect cameras, local or cloud recording, remote viewing from any device, and intelligent analytics.
Access Control
UniFi Access entry by keycard, fob, PIN or mobile credential, with per-door schedules, audit trails, and instant credential revocation.
Video Intercom
See and speak with visitors before you let them in; release doors from your desk or phone.
Remote Management
Cameras, doors and the network in one UniFi app, across one site or twenty.
Service & Upgrades
Takeovers of existing systems, camera additions, and ongoing maintenance plans.
Done right the first time
- Layered design: deter, detect, delay, and document
- You own the recorder and the footage, with no per-camera license fees
- Standardized on UniFi, so cameras, doors and the network run from one app
- Audit trails and video evidence when you need them
- Systems scale from a single storefront to multi-site enterprises
Talk to an expert
Every project starts with a conversation. We'll walk your site, understand your goals, and deliver a clear, itemized proposal — no surprises.
Schedule a site walk →What drives the price of a security system
Every proposal is itemized, so you can see what each of these costs and what you can cut. Here is what moves the number.
Camera count and coverage
How many cameras, what resolution, and whether you need license-plate capture, low-light performance, or wide-area coverage outdoors.
Doors under access control
Each controlled door needs a reader, a controller, and door hardware such as an electric strike or maglock. Existing door hardware often decides the cost.
Recording and retention
How many days of footage you keep, and whether it lives on a local recorder, in the cloud, or both.
Cabling
Every camera and door needs a run back to the head end. Existing usable cabling lowers the cost; new pathways raise it.
Common questions
Can you take over my existing system?
Usually. We assess what is reusable, typically cabling, some cameras, and door hardware, and quote only what needs to change.
Should footage record locally or in the cloud?
Local recorders cost less over time and keep working if the internet drops. Cloud recording is easier across multiple sites and survives a stolen recorder. We install both and will recommend based on your risk and budget.
Can I watch cameras and unlock doors from my phone?
Yes. Cameras and doors are manageable from a mobile app, across one site or many.
Will I be paying monthly fees forever?
No. You own the recorder and the footage outright, and there are no per-camera license fees or required monthly software subscriptions. We standardize on UniFi across every job, so we know it end to end rather than dabbling in six brands.
Are there long-term contracts?
Equipment and installation are a one-time, itemized price. Anything recurring is spelled out in the proposal, not buried in fine print.
